主要從事熱紅外遙感機理與應用研究，涉及地表熱環境遙感建模、月表水冰紅外遙感探測、遙感數據時空分析與處理等內容。以第一作者在Science Bulletin, ERL、STOEN等期刊發表SCI論文6篇，他引300余次。獲評“李小文遙感科學青年獎”（2021年）、“高校GIS論壇優秀博士學位論文”（2021年）、“王之卓創新人才特等獎”（2020年）、“武漢大學十大遙感新星（提名）（2020年）、“武漢大學中國研究生創新實踐大賽先進個人”（2019年）等。
