Peter J.G. Teunissen教授從1985開始幾乎在大地測量學的各個方向都進行了深入的研究，發表論文250余篇，著作7部。目前是荷蘭皇家科近20期六合彩結果
院士、德國巴伐利亞科學研究院DGK外籍院士以及澳大利亞聯邦科學研究院院士；并受聘于中國同濟大學、武漢大學榮譽教授。Teunissen教授先后榮獲國際大地測量Bomford獎、荷蘭克里斯蒂安?惠更斯獎，荷蘭Steven Hoogendijk獎，德國Alexander von Humboldt洪寶研究獎，新加坡Tan Chin Tuan研究獎，澳大利亞Linkage international Professorial研究獎等。
Teunissen教授在GNSS整數模糊度估計理論、整數推論和最佳估計、衛星導航定位的規范模型、完備性和多傳感器集成、伽利略全球導航衛星系統、可靠性理論和非線性反演等領域做出了突出的貢獻，發明了世界著名的LAMBDA方法。Teunissen教授曾擔任大地測量最高雜志Journal of Geodesy主編以及其他10多個國際大地測量雜志的編委。
